Welcome to Rainbow Families. Every month, we invite families with LGBTQ+ or allied kiddos ages 12 and under to gather and build community with others like themselves in a fun and supportive environment. 

It’s a great opportunity to make new friends, share experiences, and learn from one another – giving the LGBTQ+ families of Northwest Arkansas a community in which they can feel supported and gain the knowledge and resources necessary to thrive! 

Activities for the kiddos typically include playground meetups, arts & crafts, game nights, and field trips. While the kiddos get time to play, the parents gather for meetings with a mix of learning, connecting, and resource sharing to address the unique needs of LGBTQ+ families in Arkansas. Parents will also have the opportunity to provide input that helps shape our programming and events for The Equality Crew (but if we’re being honest, the kid’s get the most say in that realm). 

Rainbow families will meet on the second Sunday of each month! Location will vary depending on weather and planned activities. For the safety of all of our participants, the location is provided upon registration.
