Thanksgiving & Giving Tuesday
The Equality Crew holds space and recognizes Thanksgiving as a day of mourning over the genocide that took place throughout America. We choose to spend this month honoring and remembering Indigenous and Two Spirit people and communities, immigrants, and their descendants. We choose to intermingle this with space to remember and honor those who have created safe spaces for LGBTQ+ youth - centering both groups in an act of remembrance and gratitude of their existence and survival.
